.Hey I’m going off of the script provided by good ol’ WordPress for this introduction post. I haven’t got a whole lot to say about myself but I think I’ll be able to wing it with the outline provided.
So to start, I’m Kyle. That’s really all that you need to know about me, because I feel that this blog is really going to serve as a somewhat public journal for me. And with me sharing my writing through here, I feel that you’ll get a good idea of the person I am through what I write, y’know?
So, why am I starting a blog? What kind of shit does a 9-5 slave to corporate America have to share with the world?
- I’m not really that sure. Uncertainty is something you look for in a blog right?
- Poetic writing is something that I’ve always had a rather heavy passion for, however over the last year I’ve really found my voice within it.
- I’ve been searching for a good public means of sharing my writing, I’m proud of it and people seem to somewhat like it.
- I might post other shit, whether it’s personal adventures, garbage horror movie reviews, or me rambling about my love for cranberry juice.
That’s what can be expected of this blog, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry I suppose.
WordPress really loves lists so here’s another one.
- I’m posting publicly because I’m already public and rather transparent about my emotions and writing.
- Topics include: writing, heartbreak, horror, emotions, the movie Street Trash.
- When it comes to the audience of this blog, I’d expect about 5 or so people I know in real life who actually care, and some random dude from the internet who irks me the wrong way.
- I’m not exactly sure how to measure success with this kind of thing, but I guess creating an active discourse community would be cool, that’s all I ask really.
And I think that’s where we’re going to end this little introduction post, I feel rather satisfied with how this final product is looking. Thanks for reading, I hope you are more excited to engage in this blog than I am to write it.
